Welcome to Social Desire.

I have been so excited to start this Blog. For the past couple of months I have been enjoying myself so much in the Web 2.0 World. I have been Social Networking my ass off and loving it.

A couple of months ago I made it a goal to learn as much as I could about Search Engine Optimization. I started reading tons of SEO Blogs and articles. I ran across a couple of great sites…. StumbleUpon and Sphinn. It was there that not only did I discover some amazing information on SEO, but I met some fantastic people in the Industry. I began Networking with these people and that’s when my obsession with Social Media began.

Social Media is a combination of things…. blogging, video blogs (vlogs), instant messaging and social networking to name a few. Social Media and everything that it entails has been an amazing experience for me.

You see, I have been a Webmaster for years. I design my own websites and run them myself. I love doing it and I have always have. However, now that I started Social Networking with others I couldn’t imagine going back to running my websites the way I use to. The Web World has evolved into Something called Web 2.0 and I would never want to go back to Web 1.0.

Web 2.0 is what some call the Second Generation of the Web. Web 2.0 includes all of Social Media such as Blogs, Wiki’s and Social Networking. Social Media is a way to interact with other users on the Web. I love it and I would never go back to how the Web use to be…. I just couldn’t have it.
