Ok, so I started to use Mixx yesterday and I must say… I really, really like it. Mixx is very easy to use, the community seems to be wonderful and polite and the submit form is quick and easy.
I’ve only been using it a short time and it appears to be a terrific Social Networking Site. However, I understand that 24 hours isn’t exactly enough time to have enough facts to support my case. So, if you need some Mixx Facts and Information check out these 22 Posts that have plenty of Mixx Yummy Tidbits.

Sorry to disagree with you on this. Mixx is ok but it is no Digg in my opinion. I understand so many people’s frustrations on Digg, but think they can fix the problems. As for Mixx, one of my own companies (the linked one) uses the same open source platform that Mixx uses. It’s called Pligg and can be downloaded for free. It is also the same free software that powers Sphinn, another site that I like and that I became acquainted with you from via Andy Beard.
As far as Mixx goes, my own Earthfrisk has a lot more features and is a fun site for me that I created 6 months ago for employees. It is for anyone now but I just wanted to make the point that there is so much talk of Mixx yet I don’t see how so many want to leave Digg at all. Maki of Dosh Dosh said it best on Sphinn. No way would he, or I abandon Digg - I love it and visit daily. And If I were going to leave, well just compare that with EF and also the original Pligg at pligg.com ( see the demo) and see what site is better.
I’m sure there is place on the net for Mixx though, as well as other projects we’ve e-mailed about. The internet can fit a lot. But I won’t leave Digg for any site that is less than my own fun creations.
